As séries "Severance", "The Penguin", "The White Lotus" e "The Studio" são as mais nomeadas para a 77ª edição dos prémios de televisão Emmy, que foram anunciados hoje em Los Angeles na sede da Academia de Televisão.

A segunda temporada da série dramática “Severance”/“Separação" da AppleTV+, foi a mais nomeada, com 27 indicações, incluindo melhor série dramática, melhor atriz para Britt Lower, melhor ator para Adam Scott, melhor atriz secundária para Patricia Arquette e três presenças na categoria de ator secundário: Zach Cherry, Tramell Tillman e John Turturro.

Já "The Penguin", da Max/HBO Max, logrou 24 nomeações, entre as quais melhor minissérie ou de antologia, melhor ator e melhor produção para Colin Farrell, melhor atriz para Cristin Milioti e melhor atriz secundária para Deirdre O'Connell.

Também na Max/HBO Max, a terceira temporada de "The White Lotus" de Mike White recebeu 23 nomeações, com nada menos que quatro nomeadas na categoria de melhor atriz secundária (Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell e Aimee Lou Wood e três na de melhor ator secundário (Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs e Sam Rockwell). Também foi nomeada para melhor série dramática.

Na comédia, "The Studio" da AppleTV+ saiu na frente, com 23 indicações. A série deu a Seth Rogen nomeações para melhor ator, melhor realização e melhor escrita, melhor atriz secundária para Kathryn Hahn e Catherine O'Hara e melhor ator secundário para Ike Barinholtz.
